Welcome to Week 3 of our 2023 Summer Showcase event, showcasing some of the members of The Organised Entrepreneurs Club and how they can help you in your life and in your business.
This week we are focusing on your finances, and the different professionals that you can reach out to for advice, support and expertise.
Finances are vitally important, in business and in life, and unfortunately none of us can ignore our financial needs. Yet money can also be a hugely emotional issue, throwing up all kinds of mindset blocks and uncertainties. Reaching out for support and information from the people who know their stuff can bring some calm and confidence. Let’s introduce you to the people who can help…
CAROLINE BOARDMAN, CAROLINE BOARDMAN CONSULTING
Caroline helps sole traders, self-employed people, limited companies with one director, and women in business. Her mission is to provide a good, friendly, professional and valuable service to her clients.
EMMA WILLDER, BEYOND PROFIT LTD
Emma helps charities to thrive by providing outsourced finance and governance support.
HOLLY DANNHAUSER, MOON AND MOUNTAIN COLLABORATIONS
Holly collaborates with women who want to consciously design their business, career, or life around their unique strengths and dreams, free from guilt, limitations, or doubt. She also helps organisations of all sizes clarify their goals and the practical steps to get them there so they can make a positive difference in the world.
Linda helps ambitious business owners to get on top of their financial admin systems. She loves a clean-up project where months of accounts need sorting out and organising. Linda also loves training people on how to use their accounting platforms so they can understand their money story.
LOUISE BALL, ELEVEN ACCOUNTS SERVICES LTD
Louise helps small business owners who want to know more about the numbers in their business.
MADELEINE BIRTLES, BIRTLES MORTGAGE AND FINANCE SOLUTIONS
Madeleine helps anyone who has a mortgage or is trying to get a mortgage as a first time buyer or a home mover. She is able to help people from all employment backgrounds: self-employed, contractors, zero hours contracts, employed etc. She is also able to help those with difficult credit histories.
MEL MULLENDER, THE MINSTER PARTNERSHIP
Mel provides holistic financial advice. She specialises in pension planning, investment planning and also provides estate planning.
SABRINA SIMPSON, EXPONENTIAL ACCOUNTING SERVICE LTD
Sabrina helps construction and service-based businesses regain financial control and confidence. She helps clients keep on top of their financial responsibilities, as well as offering support with bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS, cashflow forecasting, choosing the right software, software training, and process reviews.
VANESSA MORRIS, MORRIS ACCOUNTANCY SERVICES LTD
Vanessa helps small businesses – sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, start-up companies: people who want someone to do everything for them, or people who are willing to learn how to do things themselves. Vanessa works with clients using FreeAgent or Xero software.
You can click on their names above to find out more about these fantastic professionals. What else would they like you to know about working with them? Sabrina explains “We are a cloud-based business. This enables me to work with clients all over the UK. So you don’t have to be local to benefit from working with us.”
Vanessa says “Your main point of contact is me! No question is a silly question, I’d rather you ask. I am not the traditional pin-striped suit accountant.” Caroline adds to this “Accountants are not all boring and / or scary! If you don’t get on with yours it’s time for a change.”
All of these women want to use their skills and expertise to help you to move your business (and life!) forward. Emma confirms “We are passionate about helping charities” whilst Mel explains “I don’t have a specific client market, I am more than willing to support all clients.”
It is important to Holly that you know that “My services combine my strategy development skills with coaching and money mentoring to help you leverage your strengths, take control, and boost your impact in the world. I worked for over a decade in healthcare management and also have career experience of brand management (including the global use of the NHS brand), communications and marketing across private, public, and charity sector, and events management.”
When it comes to bookkeeping, Linda explains “I’m not a massive bookkeeping practice with thousands of clients where you become a number or a piece of data – when you work with me you’re working WITH me. I’m lucky that I can give my clients the attention they need to get their finance function organised and running smoothly. I’m available for meetings, I’m chatty and I hope I make people feel more comfortable with their numbers so they can confidently make decisions.“
Another bookkeeper, Louise wants you to know that “I love supporting small businesses and building my network so that if I can’t help with a particular issue I’ll know someone who can. I care about the person behind the business not just the numbers and receipts.”
On the mortgage side, Madeleine adds “I have a vast background of knowledge and experience, I started working in banking when I was 19, working up through the ranks to a fully qualified Financial Advisor. Although I now specialise in Mortgages, I have a wealth of knowledge and contacts in all aspects of finances. On top of this, I’m approachable, friendly and flexible. I work around my family commitments, so I can also work around your family and work commitments, so we can discuss your finances at a time convenient to you, which may not fall in the hours of 9-5pm.”

Caroline & Helen
August 2023
The Organised Entrepreneurs Club has been set up by Caroline Boardman and Helen Calvert to bring together our business networks. Everyone in our Facebook group is connected to one or both of our businesses, as we wanted to bring them all together in one place where we could network and share advice.
Whilst the Facebook group remains private, we have so enjoyed the networking and events we have run for the group that we have chosen to offer some events to all business owners! Sign up to our monthly newsletters to make sure you get all of the dates that are available for networking and fun.
We are both known as highly organised, and we love to use that to assist other entrepreneurs. You bring the entrepreneurship, we’ll bring the organisation! Follow us here on Instagram and LinkedIn.
